Croeso i Dosbarth Rainbows!

Welcome to Class Rainbows!

Dosbarth Rainbows is our Reception class at Pentre'r Graig. This is taught by Miss Mitchell and supported by Miss Bartlett and Ms Fullick daily, as well as Miss Nicki in the mornings.

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is a great communication format and is used on a regular basis to keep parents/guardians up to date with messages as well as posting photographs of classroom adventures. It is beneficial for parents/guardians to have access to Class Dojo. Please contact Miss Mitchell if you require any assistance with this.

Weekly Routine

Physical Thursdays - this is our PE day it is important that children wear trainers and leggings/shorts.

Forest Fridays - this is an opportunity for the children to experience outdoor learning activities. As children will be exploring the Secret Garden, please ensure that a pair of wellies has been brought to school. These wellies should have your child's name on them and will stay in school each week.

Clothing

Please ensure that your child wears suitable coat/footwear for the weather. We use our outdoor classroom everyday in rain and sunshine!

Winter - children need raincoats, jumpers and hats.

Summer - sunhats and sun-cream are needed.

Snack

Children are welcome to bring a healthy fruit or veg option for Snack time. Alternatively, you can purchase a piece of fruit from our tuck shop at 25p per child per day. Please give this to an adult in the class or into the office.
