Headteacher’s Welcome 

Croeso cynnes ! On behalf of myself, the governors, staff and pupils of Pentre’r Graig Primary, I would like to welcome you to our wonderful, newly remodelled school. We are an extremely successful school, where all staff are committed to preparing your child for a lifelong journey of discovery and learning. 

At Pentre’r Graig, we provide a caring, secure and enjoyable learning environment to which all stakeholders are proud to belong. We celebrate pupil’s achievements and successes, and aim to prepare our pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of a fast changing world. We value the talents and contributions of everyone in our team. 

Our school motto is 'Learning, Caring, Having Fun!’/ ’Dysgu, Caru, Yn Cael Hwyl !’, which underpins our commitment and dedication in achieving excellence in all areas of school life. Your child will be engaged in developing literacy, numeracy, scientific, physical, creative and technological skills. They will also build confidence, self-esteem, develop self-reliance, learn to make decisions and develop their ability to articulate feelings and ideas. We pride ourselves of our caring, happy and friendly school ethos.   We place great emphasis on developing strong partnerships between home and school, as it is through working together in an atmosphere of mutual respect and support, that we can provide what is best for our pupils. We welcome your questions, concerns or ideas that may improve our school. As parents/ carers your role is vital.
