Nursery Routines are planned around the children in class and used in order to provide the best start to school life we can give them.

8.50-9am - We open our doors for the children to come in. 

Children go straight to play in the class, supported by our wonderful adults.

9 - 9.20 - Short carpet session.

This is where the children have their teacher directed time.  Each day has a different focus (Monday - Communication, Tuesday - Phonics, Wednesday - Numeracy, Thursday - Welsh, Friday - Recap of learning this week)

9.20 - 10.45 - Play!

Adults support children in their play and self care throughout the morning.  Encouraging independence and effective communication with others.  We operate a 'Free Flow' system where children can choose inside or outside.  Provocations are carefully planned to enhance children's learning.

9.45 - 10.30 - Snack.

Children are invited to access their own snack. Choosing a piece of fruit along with pouring their own water or milk.

10.50 - 11 - Tidy up time.

11 - 11.20 - Getting ready to go home. 

11.20 - Home Time.
